I enjoy Thai food a lot but haven't made much of it at home. There were many firsts in this recipe for me: first time cooking with coconut milk, okra, and thai curry paste. That said, it was all very easy to put together but more importantly to me, it all made sense. I love understanding how something is made and how the flavors come to be, and the paste plus the coconut milk were the underlings of this recipe. I really enjoyed this dish.
Note: I used chicken broth instead of vegetable because I had a container open, and I also added sriracha on top because it wasn't quite spicy enough.


Things I learned from this recipe:
Don't forget to top it with the basil!
My spice tolerance is a little out of control.
