Apple Cinnamon Wontons A La Mode

by Irene Lindvall

Happy nine year anniversary to Eric and I! We had a great day out and had breakfast together and the best sushi dinner at Shiro's tonight. I've known it for awhile, but I'd have to say it's the best sushi in Seattle. As a result of all this eating out I planned a dessert. The instructions are very easy and I used about two teaspoons of mixture per wrapper. The instructions did not say to turn the wontons over so when I checked on them at 13 minutes I decided to turn them over the remaining two minutes then cooked it for an additional minute. They were definitely crispy, but not inedible. Loved the powdered sugar and of course the ice cream. I should note that I sampled the apple mixture pre-bake and it was delicious but it strangely didn't taste as good after bake.

Things I learned from this recipe:

I'm reminded that I need to do make another recipe with apple-cinnamon chips.

Do NOT serve without ice cream.

Would I make this recipe again?:

Maybe
